Well Blue Boy found a new home tonight. He's the last one to go until next year's litters arrive. Now to work on finding Noel a new home.

Yesterday I kept smelling flavored coffee in the truck but couldn't figure out why ( another brain dead moment ). Finally remembering I'd laid a sample pack in the window earlier in the day I reached for it it confirm my suspitions. No coffee. #1 suspect: Sunny Kitten. Onece I spilled coffee in his food. He ate the food. Now I cactch him stealing a drink of my coffee any chance he gets. He was also the only cat I noticed on the dash shortly before smelling it. Still haven't found the coffee.

We all have our brain dead moments but today I was enlightened to just how brain dead I am. First I weighed the kittens for the 3rd time & discovered what I was taking for 100ths of an pound were ozs instead. Scale would read 2:_1 & I'd read it as 2 & 1/100 lb not 2 lb 1 oz. 2nd, 3 kittens have been on Kaopectate. I use a seringe to messure dosage. Thought it was a 10 ml seringe & not 1ml so have been underdosing the kittens although what they did get helped. Just probablly took longer.

A couple of weeks ago I put a "jungle gym" in the truck for the kittens ( although I thik 2 yr old Sunny Kitten has enjoyed it more). This gym has a 30" verticle tower with 2 levels & 4 entry/exit holes. Last week I put another pet bed in the truck. One of the kittens decided that the bed would make sleeping in the tower far more comfortable & drug the bed inside.

Well Fri starts the Life Light Festival in Sioux Falls,SD. Just got my notice today that I have been "hired" to help out. Signed up to drive a shuttle. Now lets see just where they put me to work. Will do what is needed done. It's all volunteer & they provide busing,meals & a Life Light Festival T-shirt. Looking forward to it. This should help me in getting the securety job at the Sunnshine Fest in Willmar, Mn next year.

Blue Belle went home to her new owner today so I'm back down to 6 kittens. Still have 2 to sell as well as thier other which I left at the house this week. My other cats need some space away from the protective mother. A lot quieter truck today. Even the kittens seem more relaxed.

These kittens have been a blast! The other day I found them stacked in a peramid in the corner of the kennel. Dead Eye was feeling her catnip a couple of days ago & jumped on my leg,did 3 laps around it then went flying everywhere only to end up in the bottom of the trash can.

The male kitten I got last week wasn't very out going. For the most part he would find a place to hide during play time. I have been spending extra time socializing with him & playng 1 on 1 with him. Last night I saw him playing with the rest of the kittens for the first time. This morning I awoke to find him sleeping with me & Sunny & was further reward by his purring when I petted him. So far he's the only kitten to find the top bunk where I sleep.

Tipper went home to her new owners yesterday & Fuzzbuttdolls Blue Frost & fuzzbuttdolls Blue Mist have become part of the family. They are both blue bi-color. This will give me 2 base colors,2 dilutes (1 ea. in ea. breeding pair) 2 lynx, 1 pointed, 1 mitted & the 2 bi-colors so I should have good variety in the kittens.

Well Flame is a hit. Everybody just loves him. Hopefully he'll be a good selling point on kittens.

Whenever peaches are mentioned Georgia & the Carolinas come to mind. Yesterday I laded peaches in Colorado & the shipper cave me a case. These are the best peaches I've ever eaten. Really sweet.

After years of using Eukanuba I discovered Chicken Soup for the Cat Lovers Soul last Nov. & it has made me a believer. I have a new cat & just wasn't happy with her fur. After 2 weeks on CSCLS her fur is 100% better. Another cat had course fur & is now downy soft.

For years I have wanted to stop at a large fleamarket on I 76 in Denver,Co but never think of it when there. Well I finally went. I'm better off staying out of there. My wallet is now $50 lighter! 1 big purchase was a bamboo water fountain for my bedroom. It is realy cute with a "water wheel" with little buckets that carry the water to the rocks below.

Twice now in just over a week I have gotten together with a friend to go riding. It's been nice since I don't get much time with my horses. Planning on a judged trail ride the end of Aug. Eclipse should be ready by then. Going to a concert with my church group on Sat. Will let everyone know how things go.

The Sonshine Fest was wonderfull. Some aspects I didn't care for but still had a good time. Was not impressed with Sanctus Rio & they are a group I like. Think it was the sound stage more than the group itself. Normally don't care for Skillet but realy enjoyed them. David Crowder was a hoot & tons of fun. Toby Mac was even better than DC Talk (he was 1 of the 3 members) & the New Boys were as good as ever. Discovered a new rap singer that is really good, J. Allan.

Too cute. 2 off the kittens were playing follow the leader this am. One would run & the other would follow. The first would climb the kennel & the 2nd would do the same etc.

Well the lead singer is easily distracted. For those that have never seen the Newsboys,they have a runway with a platform at the end that rises. I was right next to the platform. Wanting my hands free & not wanting anything under my feet, I had put my bottled water in the front of my bra. The lead singer noticed & took a double take & stared a couple of seconds trying to figure out what he was seeing! He was sure not to look down the rest of his time on the platform after that.

Emptied a load of bulk potatos to Barrel-O-Fun in Perham,Mn this am. Now home until the 11th when I head to Willmar,Mn for the Sonshine Fest. 14 hours of christian music by the Newboys,Toby Mac,Jerremy Camp,Kutless,Skillet,David Crouder & more. Sunny, my 2 yr old cat is now alowed supervised play time with the ragdoll kittens. They are still too small to alow him to play unsupervised but he is enjoyng having other cats to play with since the 2 females are mean to him.

The kittens are gaining more color & are getting more playfull by the day. All now are named. The last one is Blue Bell. Flame is pointed not mitted. Blue Boy looks to be a Lynx & Tipper a Torby. Noel is spending more time away but always has them in sight. They are also going potty on thier own now.

Sold a female to a woman in Montevideo,Mn. Already have a deposit on her. That makes 3 kittens have been given a home so still have 3 for sale. Well technically 4. I plan on keeping Flame but will sell him if someone wants to pay the price as he'll sell for $300 more than the rest.
