Twice now in just over a week I have gotten together with a friend to go riding. It's been nice since I don't get much time with my horses. Planning on a judged trail ride the end of Aug. Eclipse should be ready by then. Going to a concert with my church group on Sat. Will let everyone know how things go.

The Sonshine Fest was wonderfull. Some aspects I didn't care for but still had a good time. Was not impressed with Sanctus Rio & they are a group I like. Think it was the sound stage more than the group itself. Normally don't care for Skillet but realy enjoyed them. David Crowder was a hoot & tons of fun. Toby Mac was even better than DC Talk (he was 1 of the 3 members) & the New Boys were as good as ever. Discovered a new rap singer that is really good, J. Allan.

Too cute. 2 off the kittens were playing follow the leader this am. One would run & the other would follow. The first would climb the kennel & the 2nd would do the same etc.

Well the lead singer is easily distracted. For those that have never seen the Newsboys,they have a runway with a platform at the end that rises. I was right next to the platform. Wanting my hands free & not wanting anything under my feet, I had put my bottled water in the front of my bra. The lead singer noticed & took a double take & stared a couple of seconds trying to figure out what he was seeing! He was sure not to look down the rest of his time on the platform after that.

Emptied a load of bulk potatos to Barrel-O-Fun in Perham,Mn this am. Now home until the 11th when I head to Willmar,Mn for the Sonshine Fest. 14 hours of christian music by the Newboys,Toby Mac,Jerremy Camp,Kutless,Skillet,David Crouder & more. Sunny, my 2 yr old cat is now alowed supervised play time with the ragdoll kittens. They are still too small to alow him to play unsupervised but he is enjoyng having other cats to play with since the 2 females are mean to him.

The kittens are gaining more color & are getting more playfull by the day. All now are named. The last one is Blue Bell. Flame is pointed not mitted. Blue Boy looks to be a Lynx & Tipper a Torby. Noel is spending more time away but always has them in sight. They are also going potty on thier own now.

Sold a female to a woman in Montevideo,Mn. Already have a deposit on her. That makes 3 kittens have been given a home so still have 3 for sale. Well technically 4. I plan on keeping Flame but will sell him if someone wants to pay the price as he'll sell for $300 more than the rest.

2 more kittens have been named. 2 blues. The male is Blue Boy & the female is Blue Bird. Still not sure if the remaining hold out is blue or seal but leaning more toward blue at this point. They are becomming quite playfull & all are spoiled now. Flame is Mr. Personality. Already eating solid food & sleeping by himself. He even grabbed my hand and bit me & is climbing the cage. All at 3 wks old.

Looks like Joy is a jumping mule. The last time she jumped the fence she was gone for 3 days & found 2 miles away. The people who found her put her in a corral & she jumped the fence. Put her in a higher corral & she jumped out again. They finally ran her in with thier horses where she stayed until she could be picked up.

Well looks like I have a gaited mule with a sense of humor. One of the women at the barn would report the mule missing. The barn manager would check & she would be in the pasture where she belonged. This happened for several days until the barn manager discovered her missing. Every one thought that woman was loosing her marbles until then.

Irvin & Mary have been up from Tx to help with putting in new floors & help with my fair booth. Didn't get as much done as I'd have liked but got enough done to get my house back in order. Paila spent 4 days with me helping at the fair. Joanne finally made it out to see the horses & her granddaughter sat on Duncan for a while. Am very thankfull for all the help. Anna

Pretty sure I have 4 girls, 2 boys. Dead Eye is a tortie female so I dropped the Johnny Bond from her name. Tipper, another tortie female is mitted. The red pointed male I named Flame. The other 3 will be named once I can tell them apart. Fairly sure one of the remaining 3 is mitted. I have Dead Eye spoiled rotten. When I talk to her she will climb up to my shoulder & lay down. They are already trying to eat on thier own. Anna

As of Tue I have one kitten that decided he couldn't wait to see the world & started opening his eyes. A full week early. They are now fully opened. Ragdoll's eyes are blue but are blood red when first opened & will always look that way when the light is right. I have named the kitten Dead Eye Johnny Bond.

Looks like 2 kittens will be seal point as they are already starting to get dark color at the ears and the pads of thier noses. One looks like it may be a blue. Still no clue if any are mitted. I'm more anxious now to see what colors I have than I was waiting on thier arrival. Possible colors are seal,blue,red,cream,seal tortie & blue tortie. Some will be pointed, some mitted. No bi-color or tri-colors.

Hello everyone. Long time no see. Couldn't get into my blog to update. I highly recommend the Newsboys. They are better than ever. Noel,my ragdoll, had 6 kittens June 5/6. Looks like 4 boys & 2 girls. Two have already been sold so hope the other 4 sell easily. Will be home this weekend & off for 2 weeks to sell horse tack & home decor at the Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo. Until next time. Anna

Bad drivers are a fact of life. Everday I observe someone being stupid & there have been times when I was the stupid one but Texans take the cake. First there was the guy that thought that I needed to let more than 2 people merge in front of me comming of an on ramp. Instead of pulling in behind me he flew to the end of the ramp & cut in so close that I could barely see him.Then he proceeded to lock his breaks evertime traffic slowed trying to piss me off. All in pouring rain. The next day I had someone run a red light & almost plow into me. The day after that I was leaving a 4 way stop that had been vacant when I got there. Half way through the intersection on a left turn, a car that had approached to my left after I was moving,decided to make a left right across my path. This is not to leave out the truck on truck accident in the truck stop. With all the talk of illegals, it makes you wonder if these people even had drivers lissonses. Especially with the report last week of a drunken illegal killing 2 teenagers stpped at a stop light. What makes this more appauling is this guy had 2 priors & had been arrested for identity theft. Why hadn't he done jail time then been deported? We have enough drunks & bad drivers of our own without help from people who have not a care to obeying the law or they would have come here through legal channels n the first place. This is only the tip of the iceburg. Ask people how the crime rate goes up when they move into a nieghborhood. Ask the nonhispanic people of Tx,NM,Az & Ca why there is such hatred of the hispanics in thier areas. It's the problem with illegals & who pays the price, the pour guy who came here legally or was born here.

Made it home for a few hours. Had lunch with friends & visited with my horses. Have water again as the pipes have been frozen since Jan. That ave me a chance to try my homemade bath fizzies. Not as good as commercially made but still worked as it should. Visited Cabelas in Owatanna,Mn. The first foal of the season is on the ground at te barns. A palomino colt. Sat. was a day of nothing going right. The water level sensor kept giving fauls eadings & shutting te truck down. A detour not marked at a route devide added 20 miles & put me right back over to the other route of the devide pluss had a detour of the etour route. Also got a ticket for not moving to the far right lane to let an emergency vihicle through. Last I cheched you were only required to move over out of the way & not move to the furthest lane out of the way. ( this was a 6 lane highway) Couldn't be much of an emergency since he passed me,shut off his lights, stopped on the shoulder, came back on & pulled behind me, Followed me for over 2 miles then pulled me over. Watch yourself in Des Moine,Ia. People there hae attitudes!

Passed through home but didn't go by the house. Loaded in St Cloud Mn & Barron Wi for Clarksville Ar. Spent the afternoon at the Mall of America. Took in Ghost Rider,baught a silk fan with hand painted tigers,toured Under Water World & ate at Kokomo Island. Excellent food & highly recomended. My travels took me down rt 7 in Ar. Altough riddled with 20 & 30mph curves,the senery was supporb. Enjoyed it immensly. Came back out on hwy 59. Same type of road,not as pituresque but if you like visiting caves than this is the route for you.

loaded 10 am in Conway, Ar. Fueled in St Joe,Mo & stopped in Volin,Sd. Pretty quiet day.
